On Wednesday 10 June, Operation Noah hosted a webinar to launch our new report, Church investments in major oil companies: Paris compliant or Paris defiant?

Today, we are launching the next joint divestment announcement for local churches and Christian organisations, which will take place on the Epiphany (6 January 2020).

12 Catholic institutions connected to the world’s oceans have announced their commitment to divest from fossil fuels. These include institutions in Panama, the Philippines, Greece and port cities across Europe.

Isaac Harvey, a member of URC Youth and award-winning vlogger who edits videos using his feet, has released a short film urging the United Reformed Church (URC) to divest from fossil fuels.

Operation Noah is delighted to announce that eight local churches and the United Reformed Church Synod of Yorkshire have made divestment commitments as part of the Easter Declaration for Fossil Free Churches.
